Nigerian Christian recording artiste Jlyricz continues his prolific run in 2021 with the release of his new single “Love Me Too Much“. The smooth Afrobeats tune is his sixth release in 2021 and is another beautiful tune from the Lagos based singer-songwriter. 

“During the lockdown last year, I couldn’t really work as I used to; my producer Emex’s residence was quite far and the studio itself wasn’t too functional. So I told myself I had to learn a couple of things myself and have a workstation I could just play around with so I don’t stay idle. I got a couple of budget studio equipment and reached out to my long-term friend Somatrix who is a producer based in Port-Harcourt and told he is now focused on engineering majorly. I asked him to send me beats he had in his vault so I could practice and work with and he did just that. One of those beats is the instrumentals for Love Me Too Much which I recorded early this year after weeks of vibing to it. It is a personal song and it’s a summary of my relationship with God. My childhood was not very pleasant though there were loads of joyful moments and my late teens and early adult stage was filled with situations and events that could have broken me, but God still kept me and here I am sharing this beautiful song with you” concludes Jlyricz as he talks about the song’s conception and creation.
