Bámiṣé – Kasope [Music, Lyrics & Video]

Bámiṣé (Help Me / Do It for Me) is a heartfelt gospel song by Nigerian-British artist Kasope, born from a deeply personal journey of faith, grief, and dependence on God. The song captures the vulnerable moment of turning to God when life feels uncertain and the strength to move forward seems difficult to find. Its simple but powerful message is a prayer for divine help, intervention, and direction.

Written across a period that began before and continued for six years after the passing of Kasope’s mother in 2019, Bámiṣé reflects his journey of processing loss while holding on to faith. The chorus was written before her passing, while the verses and bridge developed in the years that followed. Produced by Olaitan Dada, Bámiṣé is more than a song of worship. It is Kasope’s personal prayer transformed into music, inviting listeners to bring their own struggles, uncertainties, and hopes before God and simply say, “Bámiṣé.” SoulLyrix
