THE HARMONY SERIES 4.0 (EXTENDED SERIES) WITH BARUCH AND THE OCTAVES

• This is a conference that is geared at strengthening the Music unit of Body of Christ through Knowledge, Excellence and Spirituality, It focuses on The theory of music and how to practically apply it everyday

•  It looks at addressing the issues that affect the basic unit of the Music Industry(THE CHOIR)
•  It is impact driven
• It hopes to bring a balance to the craft, This is why we would be treating 5 topics this year, We would be taking one for each episode.
  In addition to the teachings on the theory of music.

This extended series would hold on four Saturdays consecutively and below are the following topics that would be treated..

DAY 1

i) The Music Director – Leadership Skills, Human relations and Emotional Management
ii) Theory and Practical lessons on The Voice

DAY 2

i) Basic Rudiments of Music and Everyday application to singing and instrumentation
ii) Masterclass on Sight-reading and Sight-playing – Staff notation

DAY 3

i) The Common Plagues of The Choir in Rehearsals and their solutions
ii) PRACTICAL REHEARSALS – Practical Session on song scoring and identification of parts, Harmony lessons.

DAY 4

i) Assessment exams
ii) Q&A on Ministry through Music
ii) Variety – Music sessions

Bonus seminar sessions on;

~ Music Production basics
~ Music promotion and marketing using the social media and other platforms
~ Branding and Personal development sessions, Etc.
