‎Abia state born Maureen Onwuka  popularly known as Maureen J, is a recording gospel artist and dynamic songwriter, with over a decade in the professional music industry.
‎
‎Maureen J who has been singing from her teenage age, got inspired to share the testimonies of our Lord Jesus Christ through her music, after a bomb blast that nearly took her life at Ikeja cantonment of 2002, but mercy said no.
‎She also draws inspiration from so many anointed seasoned minstrels like Mercy Chinwo, Ada Ehi and Judikay, to mention a few.
