We Develop A High Sense of Family
The Family Follow-Up Group system is a way through which we carry out the third aspect of our vision: Developing and maintaining a high sense of family across our multigenerational church, in the spirit of agape love. Meetings holds most Sundays throughout the city of Port Harcourt.
The FFG System in TCC is structured into Zones with several Family Follow-Up Groups clustered into a zone. Laity zonal coordinators supervise the zones and Assistant Pastors serve as a first point of pastoral contact for zones assigned to them within their GigaZone. For many, their FFG has become the only family they have ever known. The FFG members are a supportive presence for a member who has a wedding, birth, milestone celebration or death in their family. When a sense of family is maintained in the Family Follow-Up Groups, ultimately a sense of family is maintained in the growing local assembly.
The FFG also serves as points of contact for outreach and evangelism of the neighborhoods in which the FFG is located.
